ABOUT SUPA THE BARBER
Professionally, I am passionate about rapping and cutting hair, that’s why I call myself Supa The Barber. As a barber that raps, I came to innovate, motivate and cultivate the music industry. My street experience as a teenager was selling drugs, carrying guns, looking up to older OG’s, learning how to hustle, grinding, making it happen by any means. It gave me the credibility to be an artist in this industry. I been rapping since I was like 10 years old. I had a big boom box that I carried on my shoulders and went by the name T.T Fresh. As I got older I decided to take music serious and I came out with the name Guerrilla Pimp in the group Untouchables with my kids mother Sexy Black, The cd was called Guerrilla Pimpin!!! It created a huge buzz back in the day. The group broke up before we made it. I actually worked as a Bank manager & DJ at the hottest strip clubs in the city to fund my music, After my career ended due to an acquisition at the Bank, I picked up the clippers for the first time and fell in love with them. I have been cutting hair for 10 years. I have always been a writer, a poet, being good with words. My education and personal experiences both connect to my professional career. I have a cosmetology license that gives me authority to be a barber. I would perform these tasks even without pay, because I love people and touching their spirits and hearts with my music, motivating them, pushing them towards greatness. When you cut someone’s hair with love and creativity, you can change them to a totally different person, physically, spiritually, and mentally. That’s what I call a clean cut. I’m a professional photographer, surprisingly well in the field. I love to capture the moment, show my creativity as an artist, getting the right shot. I’m most complimented on my work for my attention to detail, my precision, drive, my ambition, and my constant pursuit to become greater. My ideal client is someone who is humble, listens and trusts me to get the job done. The best proof that one is good at what they do is when hearts, minds and spirits of others are touched. When you get that awe factor, the people can’t believe it’s you that did it!! One’s talent can influence someone else to be great.
Personally, I am most passionate about Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, his death and resurrection for the redemption of the sins of mankind, and preaching the gospel of Jesus to the world. A new passion of mine is film making. I can let my imagination go wild as I create characters, plots, problems and resolutions. I am able to create my own world in a show or movie, leaving the audience with some wisdom, knowledge and a good message. I’m actually surprisingly a good cook. I love being able to take something raw, add this spice, add this seasoning, turn up the fire on the stove, flip it over, stir it up, creating a masterpiece from a vision. It's a masterpiece in which one can see, smell and taste the greatness. My greatest accomplishment is being a great father to my children, teaching them to put Jesus Christ first, being their compass, directing them to success, leading them to greatness. My best personal experience is being a soldier in the army of the Lord, raised in ministry by a General, Apostle RJ Washington who currently resides in Heaven. I read the whole Bible for myself along with what I learned from the Apostle, gave me the authority ordained by God, covered by the blood of Jesus to preach this gospel to the world.
