Salena Alston acting coach Bio

Salena Michelle Alston is an actress who was born and raised in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. She moved to Atlanta, GA in 2015 to pursue acting full time. She started singing and acting at an early age having her very first singing and acting performances at the age of 5-years-old.

Salena is studying filmmaking at Digital Film Academy in Atlanta and has taken several acting classes to hone her skills. Not only is she an actress and singer, Salena is also a director, a writer, and producer. 

Salena has now fully directed six short films as well as directed, produced, and edited her pastor's limited talk show for a public access cable network.

Salena is an acting coach at Dwayne Boyd's Premier Actors Network in Atlanta as well as a private coach for several actors in the area. 

Salena's favorite film genre is horror!

Her son Jerel Xavier Alston plays Kevin on the hit series “BMF” on Starz produced by 50 cent. The best thing is that she is a minister and Woman of God.
